Bike & Bite:
a day on Chengdu's terms.

Ten hours, one bicycle, and an itinerary built around tea, noodles, and the parts of Chengdu that don't make it onto a tour-bus route. This is our first trial run — a small group, a fair price, and your honest impressions in return.

The Day, in Brief

Two Wheels, an Empty Stomach

Discover Chengdu like a local — on two wheels and with an empty stomach. This full-day cycling and food tour takes you off the tourist trail and into the real city.

Start your morning with a traditional gaiwan tea at Heming Teahouse in People's Park, just like Chengdu residents have done for generations. Then hop on your bike to explore Kuanzhai Alley, ride through quiet old neighbourhoods, and stop for authentic noodles at a beloved local noodle shop.

Along the way, you'll pass a historic high school with roots in the Western Han Dynasty, try danhonggao (crispy egg pancakes) from a street stall, and wander through a bustling wet market in Yulin — where locals buy their daily produce and snacks. The day ends with a fiery cold-pot skewer dinner and a relaxing evening stroll through Yulin's vibrant streets. No hidden tourist traps — just real food, real life, and the real rhythm of Chengdu.
